2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee at Lone Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

There are few SUVs on the road that can compete with the Grand Cherokee in terms of features and power, and in 2022 the famed SUV went through a bit of a re-design which included a Uconnect 5 system and a new digital gauge cluster which includes a supplemental display for the front passenger. Next, we move to what's under the hood, as the Grand Cherokee retains the popular V6 and V8 engines as well as the new 4xe, which is a hybrid that includes a battery pack and two electric motors to provide drivers with high horsepower and torque. You also get a massive amount of space, so you will always have enough space for your passengers and all of their stuff! There is a lot to cover with the 2023 Grand Cherokee, and you can find out all about it below!

Higher levels of articulation on the Grand Cherokee help keep all four tires on the ground to help ensure they remain stable and engaged.

Thanks to precision steering and optimized wheelbases, Grand Cherokee can swiftly veer around narrow gaps and maneuver around rocks or tight spots.

Active Lane Management

The Active Lane Management System measures your position within lane boundaries. If the system detects an unintentional lane drift, it will alert you and correct the vehicle back into its lane. The system also provides steering correction to help avoid collision with surrounding vehicles in your blind spots.

Blind Spot Monitoring

These automatic systems use radar-based sensors to detect other vehicles in your blind spot zones or crossing behind you.

LED Lighting

Radiating with modern design, premium LED lighting gives the Grand Cherokee an extra-special glow. LED headlamps, taillamps, and available fog lamps make for an impressive view whether you're inside or outside the vehicle.

21-Inch Wheels

A range of available wheel options, including the 21-inch polished aluminum wheels, lend the Grand Cherokee sophistication and support on both city streets and rugged trails.

Customize Your Capability

With three available 4x4 systems and the available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, Grand Cherokee gives you the power to handle the unexpected. Choose from Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, or Mud/Sand at the flip of a switch.

7,200-Pound Maxium Towing

Jeep® Grand Cherokee gives you the power to take along your most adventurous necessities. Boats, trailers, you name it-with a Best-in-Class Maximum Towing Capacity, you've got the ability to take in on your journey.

Passenger Screen

For the first time ever in a Grand Cherokee, front seat passengers can enjoy a screen devoted just to them. The new available Passenger Screen makes it easy for passengers to navigate the journey and send directions to the driver's display. You can play movies, stream online content with Amazon Fire TV, listen to music or podcasts and tune in to everything with wireless headphones.

Power for the 2023 Grand Cherokee

Three massive engines are available for the Grand Cherokee, and each one will supply drivers with an astonishing amount of power. We first turn our attention to the base engine, which is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Those who want a little more power are free to opt for the outstanding 5.7-liter V8, which delivers a massive 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The last engine is a spectacular hybrid know as the 4xe, which takes a turbocharged four-cylinder and adds a few hybrid elements to create 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. You will also get a solid 25 miles of all-electric range, which is terrific for a hybrid engine. In 2023, the engine is available for the Trailhawk trim. Every one of these engines pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission which is among the smoothest around. Rear-wheel-drive is standard for the V6, but four-wheel-drive is available for those who want a touch more traction. The other two engines come standard with four-wheel-drive.

How good are the features for the Grand Cherokee?

The short answer is that they are very impressive, as each trim level is packed with luxury, tech, and performance features. The base trim is the Laredo which comes standard with an 8.4-inch digital touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. As you move through the trim levels, you will find more advanced features such as a passenger-side touchscreen, air suspension, massaging front seats, ultra-premium McIntosh audio system, and a night vision camera. There is also a massive amount of luxury items such as leather seats, a sunroof, a more extensive and a more functional touchscreen infotainment system, and heated seats. Those who are planning on checking out the woods and the wilderness will love the Trailhawk trim as it has front tow hooks, a front-facing camera, gloss black roof, hill ascent and descent control, an electronic rear limited-slip differential, all-terrain tires, and an adaptive air suspension with selectable ride height settings. There is nothing that the Grand Cherokee can't do!

What kind of safety features can I get with the Grand Cherokee?

No matter where you go in this world, the Grand Cherokee has your back with tons of standard safety features. We start with a Blind-Spot Monitoring system with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will monitor the areas around and behind the Grand Cherokee so you can see the vehicles coming up behind you and to the sides. That way, you can make safer lane changes. There is also a standard Adaptive Cruise Control system that will allow drivers to maintain a pre-set distance between the Grand Cherokee and the vehicle ahead of it. Then there is a Lane Keeping Assist system which will help keep the Grand Cherokee between the painted lines, and you will get a chime when you leave the road without signaling. Other standard safety systems include Forward Collision Mitigation system and Rear Parking Sensors.
