Can The 2022 Wagoneer Handle Off-Roading?
Oh yes, it can! The Wagoneer shows its rugged abilities through its athleticism and expert handling, from paved roads to off-road trails. Offering the legendary Quadra-Drive II 4X4 system, Quadra-Lift air suspension, and the Selec-Terrain traction management system, the Wagoneer is ready to tackle any and all conditions. Under the hood, you'll find a 5.7-liter V8 engine paired with eTorque hybrid technology and an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. This powertrain offers 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. When properly outfitted with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, the Wagoneer has a class-leading tow rating of 10,000 pounds. It can also withstand water-fording in up to 24 inches thanks to its maximum ground clearance of up to 10 inches.
The 2022 Wagoneer Design Features
The Wagoneer is designed to pioneer a new luxurious look and feel, while still maintaining its classic appeal. It balances these two aspects beautifully, with subtle similarities to previous Wagoneer vehicles like a seven-slot grille, angular character lines, and upright frame. However, it's also loaded with new features to keep things fresh and exciting. The exterior is clad in chrome Wagoneer badges visible from every angle, as well as acoustic-glass front windows and winshield and an available tri-pane panoramic sunroof for a burst of natural light. Inside, the Wagoneer features standard Nappa leather-trimmed seating, or Palermo leather for the Series III. Entryways are illuminated by ambient LED lighting, and the 2nd row seating can hold either two or three passengers with bucket seats or a bench. The bucket seats will make for a total capacity of seven passengers, while the three-seat bench makes for eight.
New Tech Features of the 2022 Wagoneer
As mentioned above, the Wagoneer includes many new tech features in its design. The center console features the new Uconnect 5 system with split-screen capabilities and up to five available user profiles. The system provides smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa, as well as navigation with Over-the-Air updates, and Amazon "Home to Car" with Alexa assistant technology. Passengers can stay connected with a generous number of USB-A and USB-C ports throughout the cabin, as well as a wireless charging pad, and an on-board 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
