The Sport, like all trims of the Wrangler, comes with a choice of several engines. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out an impressive 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Optionally, owners can opt for a version with the hybrid eTorque system. This  engine is paired with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optional motors are either a 2.0-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder engine or a 3.0-liter V6 diesel-powered engine that gives you an unprecedented 442 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines are mated with the eight-speed automatic transmission. As for features, the Sport comes with 17-inch steel wheels, skid plates, tow hooks, and LED foglights. The next trim level is the Sport S, which builds on the Sport by adding alloy wheels, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, and an Alpine audio system. Also included are the Command-Trac NV241 part-time, two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio and next-generation Dana front and rear axles. In addition, one can add an optional Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential to provide extra torque and grip in low-traction environments. The third level of trim for the Wrangler is the Sahara. This trim offers full-time four-wheel drive, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Sahara trim has both Altitude and a High Altitude versions. With the Altitude, you get all of the Sport S Altitude features plus leather upholstery. High Altitude versions of the Sahara have 20-inch wheels with all-season tires, a sport-tuned suspension, parking sensors, and an upgraded infotainment system 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The last Wrangler trim in the lineup is the mighty Rubicon, the model with all the most robust off-road equipment. The Rubicon model features Dana 44 front and rear heavy-duty axles, enhanced off-road rock rails, and the Rock-Trac NV241 two-speed or optional full-time transfer case with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio. Also included are electric front and rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar and 33-inch BF Goodrich KM All-Terrain tires, taking Wrangler to places others simply can't go. A multitude of technology features, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and safety features, such as Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection, adaptive cruise control and Forward Collision Warning-Plus, further the Rubicon's appeal.
