Trim Levels of the 2019 Dodge Journey

Dodge has revamped the Journey for the 2019 model year and it is better than ever before! They have reduced the number of trim levels available to three, giving owners access to higher-end features without paying the big bucks. Plus, each and every Dodge Journey model boasts a third-row seat so there is room for the whole family, friends, and all the gear that kids come with. We are breaking down exactly what each and every trim level available has to offer to help you narrow down which one best meets the needs of your lifestyle, so keep reading! 

SE: The entry-level SE model starts the Journey lineup off with a host of standard features! They include a height-adjustable driver's seat, automatic headlights, keyless entry and ignition, 17-inch steel wheels, a six-speaker sound system, roof rails, fog lights, a six-speaker sound system, heated side mirrors, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, and an auxiliary audio input. Dodge makes a few packages available for this trim. The Blacktop package adds a blacked-out appearance while the Connectivity package adds Bluetooth, voice commands, a USB port, and satellite radio access! The Comfort/Convenience package upgrades the upholstery and gives the driver's seat power-adjustment capabilities. The available Premium Group combines the Comfort/Convenience with the Connectivity package. 

Crossroad: Take a step up to the Crossroad trim level for even more features! Dodge packs this trim with all the features from the Premium Group along with leather upholstery, 19-inch wheels, three-zone climate control so every passenger can be comfortable, an enhanced 8.4-inch touchscreen interface, and a touring-tuned suspension. Dodge also makes a ton of features available for the Crossroad trim. They include a premium six-speaker sound system with a subwoofer, heated front seats, a sunroof, a rear-seat entertainment system, remote engine start, and navigation. A Driver Convenience package is available for the Crossroad trim as well. This adds a universal garage door opener as well as rear parking sensors. 

GT: At the top of the Journey's trim lineup is the GT trim. This model combines everything that the Crossroad trim level has to offer and all of its available features with an upgraded suspension for an even smoother ride and exclusive 19-inch wheels. 

Dodge powers the 2019 Journey with one of two engine options. The first, a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Together, this powertrain kicks out 166 pound-feet of torque and 173 horsepower. Fuel economy for this engine comes in at 25 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg in the city with standard front-wheel-drive. The second powertrain is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Together, they kick out 260 pound-feet of torque and 283 horsepower. This engine is configured with standard front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive is available. Towing needs are met thanks to the maximum towing rate of 2,500 pounds with the V6 engine.
