What are the Durango's engine options?

The Dodge Durango is the most powerful SUV on the planet, so drivers are assured some potent engines. Standard on the 2021 version is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out an amazing 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 6,200 pounds. Seeing as how this is a Dodge vehicle, there are going to be several V8 options. The first is available on the Citadel and the R/T, and it's a 5.7-liter V8 that kicks out an impressive 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The Citadel can haul up to 7,400 pounds, while the R/T can pull 8,700 pounds with the Tow n Go package, which is the best in the class. Next is the SRT, which comes with a mighty 6.4-liter V8 that punishes the pavement with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Topping the list is the SRT Hellcat, which has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that pumps out a mind-blowing 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque and can hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds or less.

More luxury items for the Durango are available on the Citadel as it comes with leather and vinyl upholstery, heated front and second-row seats, and a nine-speaker stereo with a subwoofer. The R/T adds to this with upgraded brakes. Topping the lineup is the SRT and the SRT Hellcat, which rounds things out with an electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and performance-tuned suspension.
