Like its Charger and Challenger brethren, the Durango boasts potent engines, which allow it to have best-in-class towing and ample acceleration. Inside the cabin, the Durango is very spacious as it allows room for up to seven passengers and all of their stuff. In 2021, Dodge has upgraded the Durango's exterior design to look more aggressive, and the interior has been revised as it's more comfortable, which comes in handy on those long car trips. The Dodge Durango is the most powerful SUV on the planet, so drivers are assured some potent engines. Standard on the 2021 version is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out an amazing 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 6,200 pounds. Seeing as how this is a Dodge vehicle, there are going to be several V8 options. The first is available on the Citadel and the R/T, and it's a 5.7-liter V8 that kicks out an impressive 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The Citadel can haul up to 7,400 pounds, while the R/T can pull 8,700 pounds with the Tow n Go package, which is the best in the class. Next is the SRT, which comes with a mighty 6.4-liter V8 that punishes the pavement with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Topping the list is the SRT Hellcat, which has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that pumps out a mind-blowing 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque and can hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds or less. 

Six trim levels are available for the 2021 Durango, and each one is packed to the brim with available features. Starting things off is the base SXT trim, which has a push-button start, three-zone climate control, power-folding third-row headrests, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Building on this is the amazing GT trim which adds remote ignition, a power liftgate, a power driver's seat, a 115-volt power outlet, and a satellite radio. More luxury items for the Durango are available on the Citadel as it comes with leather and vinyl upholstery, heated front and second-row seats, and a nine-speaker stereo with a subwoofer. The R/T adds to this with upgraded brakes. Topping the lineup is the SRT and the SRT Hellcat, which rounds things out with an electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and performance-tuned suspension. You also get ventilated front seats.

The Durango is impressive in so many different ways, right down to the safety features it provides. Available is a Blind-Spot Monitoring System that scans the areas around your Durango and lets you know when it's safe to make a lane change. Also available is the Adaptive Cruise Control System that allows the Durango to maintain a preset distance between the Durango and the traffic in front of it. One of our favorite safety features that the Durango has are the rain-sensing windshield wipers, which automatically turn on when rain is sensed on the windshield.
